Check-in from 11:00 am. Departure at 1:00 pm from the Split harbour as we cruise towards Stari Grad on the island of Hvar where records confirm that this is the sunniest Adriatic island. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore this unique town and its famous horseshoe-shaped bay. The famous Stari Grad Field (a plain) is the oldest in Croatia and the best-preserved example of the ancient Greek system of agriculture. Both the old town and this plain are part of the world heritage protected by UNESCO. Overnight in one of the ports of Stari Grad, main or ferry port (2 km away) depending on availability in port.

Day 1: Perth - Kalbarri, Australia
Perth Pick-Up – Kalbarri
Embark on your adventure by beginning with a guided tour through the enchanting Pinnacles Desert nestled within Nambung National Park. Following this captivating experience, indulge in a delightful seaside lunch at Jurien Bay. As you continue your journey along the picturesque Indian Ocean Drive, prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking coastal vistas. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the renowned Pink Lake, a captivating attraction just outside Geraldton along the coral coast highway (weather conditions permitting). Then, your travels lead you to the charming coastal town of Kalbarri, where you’ll spend the night. Throughout the day, relish delicious meals, including lunch and dinner. Your accommodation for the night will be at Kalbarri YHA Backpackers Shared Dormitory, complete with shared bathroom facilities, or a similar alternative. You’ll cover a driving distance of 575 kilometres and embark on a 2-kilometre hike during this leg of your journey.

Day 2: Kalbarri - Denham, Australia
Begin your day with the enchantment of a sunrise photo opportunity, a moment of pure magic. You can choose to capture this breathtaking spectacle at either Nature’s Window or the Kalbarri Skywalk. Next, explore the wonders of The Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park, where the relentless flow of water has artistically carved its path through sandstone. If you visit during spring, you’ll be treated to a vibrant display of wildflowers, adding a burst of colour to your journey. Following a leisurely lunch by the river mouth in Kalbarri, we’ll continue our journey towards the coastal paradise of Monkey Mia. Along the way, we’ll make several comfort stops to ensure your travel is both relaxed and enjoyable. Ultimately, we’ll reach our accommodation nestled by the beach, promising a serene and picturesque setting.

Day 3: Denham - Coral Bay, Australia
Kickstart your day by making new aquatic friends as you meet the renowned Monkey Mia Dolphins, a fantastic opportunity for capturing unforgettable photos. Afterwards, relish some relaxing moments on the pristine beach or treat yourself to a coffee at the nearby restaurant. As we resume our journey, be sure to take in the awe-inspiring cliffside vistas overlooking Denham from the vantage point of Eagle Bluff. A leisurely stroll along a beach adorned with countless tiny shells is next on the agenda, setting the stage for a delightful lunch. The day’s adventure culminates as we make our way to Coral Bay, where our accommodation awaits, perched right on the pristine shores of the famous Ningaloo Reef. It’s the perfect setting for a truly memorable experience.

Day 4: Coral Bay - Exmouth, Australia
Today, you’ll have ample time to immerse yourself in the wonders of the Ningaloo Reef, Australia’s largest Fringe reef, at your own pace. The choice is yours: you can opt to join an exciting boat tour or relish in free time to explore the exquisite beaches Coral Bay has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline and perhaps venture to the shark nursery. For an extra adventure, consider swimming with the graceful manta rays (available at an additional cost) or indulge in a snorkelling escapade on the Ningaloo Reef, which is just a stone’s throw away from the shore. As the day winds down, we’ll embark on a short drive up the peninsula to the charming town of Exmouth. Here, we’ll check into our accommodation for a comfortable two-night stay, conveniently located in the town centre.

Day 5: Exmouth, Australia
Today, we embark on a captivating journey through Cape Range National Park, a place of striking limestone ranges, dramatic deep canyons, and an impressive stretch of 50 kilometres of unspoiled beaches. You’ll have the chance to unwind on the pristine shores or opt for an unforgettable snorkelling adventure at the mesmerizing Turquoise Bay. After a morning of exploration, we’ll conclude our tour in the early afternoon, just in time for a satisfying lunch. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your leisure. You can take a short 500-meter stroll to discover the charming township of Exmouth or simply relax by the pool at our accommodation. For those seeking an extraordinary encounter, consider joining a Whaleshark or Humpback swim tour (available at your expense and subject to seasonal availability). It’s an opportunity to meet some of the Ningaloo Reef’s most renowned visitors. As the day comes to a close, we’ll make our way to the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse to witness the stunning sunset, a fitting conclusion to our day of exploration and adventure.

Day 6: Exmouth - Geraldton, Australia
Our day begins with a visit to the charming town of Carnarvon, where we’ll have the chance to explore one of the local banana or mango plantations, depending on the season. After this delightful excursion, we’ll gather for a waterfront lunch in Carnarvon. As we continue our journey, we’ll make a stop at a prime spot overlooking the picturesque Murchison River, perfect for capturing some memorable photos. Along the way, we’ll also pause at Billabong for a refreshing break, offering coffee and indulgent ice creams to recharge your spirits. Our final destination for the night is Geraldton, where we’ll settle in for a well-deserved rest. After a day of travel, we’ll come together for our last group dinner at The Murchison Tavern. While discounted meals are available, they will be at guests’ own expense. It’s a fitting conclusion to our adventure-filled day.

Day 7: Geraldton - Perth, Australia
Delight in a visit to the HMAS Sydney Memorial, which offers breathtaking vistas of Geraldton. Following this, take a leisurely stroll along the scenic 3-bay walk at Green Head, immersing yourself in the coastal beauty. Explore the intriguing Stromatolites of Lake Thetis before treating yourself to lavender-infused ice cream at the Yanchep Lavender Farm. As the day winds down, relax on the bus as we make our way towards Perth, with drop-offs beginning around 6:00 pm. It’s a wonderful way to conclude our journey, reflecting on the memorable experiences we’ve shared.
