Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna Waterfall

Costa Rica is a magical land, with impressive volcanic activity, more than 120 volcanic hotspots have been identified, most of them very old and extinct. But nine of them are still active, and the perfect and majestic cone is right in front of your eyes, the Arenal Volcano.

You will walk through the primary forest and solidified lava that reminds us of the change in natural landscapes after a volcanic eruption. From the El Silencio viewpoint, you will have extraordinary views of Lake Arenal and the lava flows from the 1968 eruption. You will be able to refresh your morning in the crystalline waters of the Fortuna River Waterfall.

After lunch your guide will return you back to the hotel, from this moment enjoy La Fortuna at your own pace, tomorrow more adventures await you.

In case you want to do an extra activity, we recommend you relax in the hot springs, Baldi, Ecotermales or Tabacon are excellent options.
