Visit the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the Skógafoss waterfall , the Reynisfjara black beach, and the village of Vík.
The first stop of your tour is the graceful Seljalandsfoss waterfall, south of Reykjavík. You can walk behind it if you want! Continue toward Skógafoss waterfall, at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökul volcano. On a clear day, enjoy the views of the mountain glacier Mýrdalsjokull. Your next visit is the Reynisfjara black beach, with picturesque basalt column formations, and the famous Reynisdrangar peaks. Hop back in the bus and drive through the charming Vík, on your way to your accommodation in the Skaftafell area. Enjoy a quiet evening and, if the conditions allow it, go hunting for the Northern Lights in the countryside close to the Vatnajökull glacier.
Tour the Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon, the Diamond Beach, a natural ice cave, and the Skaftafell Nature Reserve in Vatnajokull National Park.
On the second day of you trip, you will visit the extraordinary Jökulsárlón Ice Lagoon, which you might have seen in movies like Batman Begins and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. See splendid icebergs and ice formations in the surreal black-sand Diamond beach. Then go into the glacier with a qualified guide and explore the fascinating ice caves, with surreal shapes and shimmering shades of blue. Take amazing pictures of the way the light filters through the ice. After this extraordinary experience, head back to Reykjavík. On the way, stop at the Skaftafell Nature Reserve in Vatnajokull National Park to enjoy its marvelous scenery. Keep an eye out for the Northern Lights! You will arrive in the city around 9:00 pm.

What to bring: Warm outdoor layers (wool, fleece or synthetic are best, not cotton), a waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves. Good hiking shoes are recommended.
Accommodation: If you do not choose the single supplement you will be paired in a twin room with another participant of the same gender.
About the tour: The main ice cave to visit is the Crystal Ice Cave. At times it is inaccessible however and in that case, we will see another ice cave. During the summer months (April-October), we will go to The Ice Cave Under the Volcano ice cave. If it is inaccessible, we will do a glacier hike instead.
