It magically recreates the most important and transcendent period in the history of tango, luxuriously framing it in a building from those years that used to be a movie theatre owned by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The old and beloved Metro, just a few steps away from the Obelisk, is now transformed into Tango Porteño, a place that combines a refined atmosphere and rescues the pure deco style of the golden age, complemented by an artistic cast, unbeatable productions and a high-quality gastronomic display that honours the era it represents. It could not be otherwise, because Tango Porteño is the image of Buenos Aires, the "City of Tango".
