Today, drive along the Valley of the Olt River, through the Red Tower Pass the former border between Transylvania and Wallachia. Enjoy a stop at Cozia Monastery, the oldest Monastery in Romania. The Monastery is an example of well-preserved Wallachian architecture, with Byzantine influence, highlighted by alternating brick and stone groups and carved artificial stairs. This afternoon, enjoy a city tour in Sibiu. The former European Capital of Culture in 2007 played an important economic and political role in Transylvania throughout history. The buildings from the Great and Small Rings, the Brukenthal Palace and the Bridge of Lies are just some of the architectural monuments that influence the city's entire image. During the evening we will arrive in Bazna.

Today, your day is dedicated to the culture of the Transylvanian Saxons. The fortified Churches of Transylvania are among the best-known historical monuments of the Transylvanian Saxons and are being better preserved than in other parts of Europe are valuable architectural monuments. After breakfast, we will proceed to Biertan, where we will visit the largest fortified Church in Transylvania also known as the residence of the Evangelical Bishops. The next stop on our visit list is Sighișoara, which has the most beautiful and best-preserved Medieval buildings in the Gothic-Renaissance and Baroque styles from this part of Europe. The high density of the architectural monuments, the public buildings, the fortified walls, the towers and the dwellings give the citadel the view of a unique, well-arranged building complex of invaluable historical value. The Church upon the Hill, Count Dracula's birthplace and the former Monastery Church can be visited here. This afternoon, we return back to Bazna. After arrival at Casa Bazna, you are invited to embark on a carriage ride to the fortified Church of Boian.

Then, continue to Predeal, a climatic spa located on the Wallachian-Transylvanian border and the highest town in Romania at 1040 metres. Tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel.

This morning, we drive to the Saxon fortified Churches of Harman and Prejmer. The city was founded in the 13th Century by the Knights of the Teutonic order and was for centuries an economic and intellectual centre of the Transylvanian Saxons, who constituted until the 19th Century most of the population. We will enjoy a city tour in the city centre, where you will get to know the most important sites including the Black Church with its Pipe Organ (outside visit), the Medieval City Wall around the Old City Centre with stylish late Medieval houses, the Town Hall Square, the unique Rope Street, Catherine's Gate and the small hidden Orthodox Church from the city centre.
