Day 1: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Upon arrival to Chiang Mai, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation, where you will have time to get settled in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure chilling in the hotel or begin your adventure by heading out on your own to explore the city. Chiang Mai has an intriguing mixture of ancient and modern sites, friendly people, vibrant night markets and charming architecture. The city is bounded by a moat and walls that hold all of its secrets and ancient temples shrouded in mystery inside. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 2: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Discover the beauty of Chiang Mai’s countryside by bike, and experience the traditional northern way of life with its beautiful green landscapes! Your guide will meet you at 9:00 at your hotel, and take you to the south of Chiang Mai, where the bike tour begins. Start your biking along charming country roads, passing rice fields and fruit orchards. Being in this area, a visit to Mckean Gardens is a must! Here we will go on dirt roads going through a tunnel of bamboo and marvel at the beautiful green esplanade. Cycle to the ruins of the former capital of Lanna, Wiang Kum Kam and then make the scenic return trip to Chiang Mai, enjoying the scenery as you go.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before we head back towards Chiang Mai, experiencing many small communities, villages, local temples, orchards and much more. After coming back, enjoy the afternoon free at leisure. Overnight Chiang Mai.

Day 3: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Today is another action-packed adventure, so make sure you rise early and charge your batteries with a healthy breakfast. You will be picked up from the hotel between 8:00 – 8:30 am and drive north towards the Mae Taeng area to begin your adventure. After a safety and equipment briefing, you will hop on your mountain bike and begin riding 8 kilometres on local roads through scenic landscapes. Bike until the river camp, where you will begin your rafting descent. Prepare for your thrilling white water rafting trip on the Mae Taeng River with our professional guides and equipment. Get set up with your helmets, life jackets, paddles and rafts plus a safety briefing to make sure you are familiar with the equipment and techniques for paddling, sitting on the raft and river safety. The Mae Taeng River stretches a lengthy 10 kilometres and passes through 14 gorges with Grade 3-5 rapids. It is known by many as Asia’s best place to go white water rafting. Enjoy your 2-hour trip down the river, tackling the challenging and fun rapids. Finally, we will pull into the camp downstream where the rafting trip comes to an end. Rest up and change into dry clothes here. Have some refreshments, hot or cold drinks and fresh fruit. Then, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Chiang Mai, where you will enjoy your last free night in the city on your own.
Please Note: This activity is suitable for beginners, even those who cannot swim
During the dry season (March to May) some portions of the rafting route require that the raft be carried a short distance over lower-level water. Your guide will assist you with these short distances.
Whitewater Rafting must be 8 years of age and up. Max weight 120 KG and timing of activity are subject to change by our local representative.
