Depart San Jose at 6:00 AM via shuttle through Braulio Carrillo National Park. Stop for authentic Costa Rican breakfast with tropical fruits. Visit a banana plantation, then boat transfer into Tortuguero National Park. Check in to eco-lodge. Optional evening museum tour or turtle nesting tour (Jul–Oct only).
Early breakfast followed by rainforest trail walks. Afternoon boat tour through lagoons and canals spotting howler monkeys, white-faced capuchins, spider monkeys and over 400 bird species.
Leisure day to relax at the eco-lodge, explore the town independently, or join optional activities.
Final breakfast at the lodge. Boat and shuttle transfers back to San Jose, arriving approximately 3:30 PM.
