Iceland's two most iconic routes in 3 days. The Golden Circle's geysers and waterfalls plus the dramatic south coast's black beaches and glacier views.
Depart Reykjavik for the famous Golden Circle. Visit Þingvellir National Park where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates pull apart. Watch Strokkur erupt at the Geysir geothermal area and feel the spray from Gullfoss waterfall. End the day with a soak in the Secret Lagoon.
Drive the south coast stopping at Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. Continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach with its dramatic basalt columns. Pass through Vík and continue to Skaftafell National Park at the base of Vatnajökull glacier.
Optional early morning visit to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon to watch icebergs drift out to sea. Return drive to Reykjavik where the trip ends. Extend your stay or head to the airport.
