Enjoy a free afternoon to explore this unique town and its famous horseshoe-shaped bay. The famous Stari Grad Field (a plain) is the oldest in Croatia and the best-preserved example of the ancient Greek system of agriculture. Both the old town and this plain are part of the world heritage protected by UNESCO. Overnight in one of the ports of Stari Grad, main or ferry port (2 km away) depending on availability in port.

Day 3: Valencia, Spain
Wake up at 6 am for an early breakfast and bloody marys! Take your bus at 7 am to the Tomato Fight! At 10 am, the crowd scrambles to reach a leg of ham balanced on a 5m high wooden pole. When (if) someone reaches this ham, the tomato fight officially begins!
If no one reaches the ham before 11 am a rocket is launched and trucks carrying tonnes and tonnes of tomatoes are dumped throughout the street. Prepare yourself for an hour of absolute carnage of throwing fleshy fruit at strangers, friends, family, locals and tourists alike. Following the fight, we’ll head back towards the buses. You can stop off to be rinsed for a coin donation by locals with their garden hoses. Remember to bring a spare change of clothes!
At 2 pm the busses leave to head back to camp, then at 8 pm the busses head to the Official La Tomatina After Party.

Day 4: Valencia, Spain
At 3 am the busses return from La Tomatina Afterparty. Enjoy your last scrumptious brunch at the campsite and spend the day hanging out and recovering. Grab some food from the café, jump in the pool, work on your tan and finish that book you’ve been carrying around forever on the beach.
Once you are ready to leave, say goodbye to your new friends before continuing your onward journey.
