Ferry to mainland. Guided cycling tour of ancient citadel. Visit 17th-century temples of King Dinh and King Le.
Free day in Ninh Binh. Optional Mua Cave hike (500 steps). Evening board overnight train to Hue (13hrs).
Early morning arrival. Free day to explore the imperial capital — Citadel, Forbidden Purple Palace, Perfume River. Home-cooked dinner with a local family.
Private bus to Hoi An (3hrs). Leader-guided walking tour of historic old town — trader's house, Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese assembly hall.
Morning bike ride to Tra Que Vegetable Village. Garden-to-table cooking experience with local chef. Free afternoon for markets, shopping and tailors.
Travel to coastal Quy Nhon (5.5hrs). Free afternoon and evening to explore.
Free day in Quy Nhon. Evening board overnight train to Ho Chi Minh City (12.5hrs).
Early morning arrival. Visit local market with the group. Local coffee experience (Saigon iced coffee). Free evening.
