Group Adventure · Cairo Loop via Aswan, Nile Felucca & Luxor

Arrive in Cairo and check into your hotel. Welcome meeting with your tour leader and group in the evening. Optional: head out to one of Cairo's bustling souqs for your first taste of Egypt.
Head to the Pyramids of Giza — the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World — and the enigmatic Sphinx. Optional: Saqqara, Memphis or the Egyptian Museum. Overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
Arrive in Aswan. Leader-led orientation walk and visit to Aswan's spice and souvenir bazaar. Free afternoon — optional Abu Simbel day trip or felucca on the Nile.
Morning kayak on the Nile through ancient landscapes and Nubian villages. Free afternoon — optional Philae Temple, High Dam or Nubian village visit.
Board a traditional felucca sailing boat for an overnight sail down the Nile. Stop at colourful villages and temples by day, stargaze on deck by night.
Disembark and travel to Luxor. Free afternoon — optional: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple or a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Theban necropolis.
Cross the Nile to the Valley of the Kings with a local Egyptologist. Visit three royal tombs — option to upgrade to Tutankhamun's tomb. Overnight sleeper train back to Cairo.
Arrive back in Cairo. Free day to explore independently — optional Coptic Cairo, the Citadel, Khan El-Khalili bazaar or the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization.
Trip ends after breakfast in Cairo. Optional extensions to Hurghada (Red Sea) or Dahab can be arranged.
