Arrive in Casablanca. Your tour leader holds a welcome meeting at 6:00pm. The rest of the day is free — stroll the corniche or explore the Art Deco city centre at your leisure.
Optional visit to the spectacular Hassan II Mosque. Local train to Meknes, then transfer to sacred Moulay Idriss. Overnight with a Moroccan family for an authentic homestay experience with a mint tea demonstration.
Guided tour of Volubilis Roman ruins (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Transfer to the blue city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains.
Full day free in Chefchaouen. Explore the blue medina at your pace. Optional: Akchour Waterfalls hike, hammam, henna tattoos or rooftop café culture.
Five-hour drive to Fes, Morocco's spiritual capital. Arrive early afternoon with free time to explore the world's largest car-free urban area.
Guided medina tour: Chouara leather tanneries, Medersa Bou Inania and a ceramic factory. Free afternoon in the souks.
Long drive (~10 hours) to Merzouga. Sunset camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Overnight under the stars at a traditional desert camp.
Pre-dawn sunrise over the dunes. Drive through the Ziz Valley to the dramatic Todra Gorge (300m cliffs). Optional gorge hike. Overnight in the Dades Valley.
Drive the Road of 1000 Kasbahs (~7 hours). Tea at the Tawesna women's cooperative. Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou — film location for Gladiator & Game of Thrones.
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260m (~6 hours). Arrive in Marrakech. Evening at the electric Djemaa el-Fna Square.
Guided Marrakech medina tour — Bahia Palace, spice souks, artisan quarters. Then a street food tasting experience at Djemaa el-Fna: barbecued meats, fresh salads, mint tea and couscous. Free afternoon.
No activities planned — depart at your leisure. Optional: Moroccan cooking masterclass for a perfect final morning.
